Thanks JoelD, a cylinder looks "sort of" friendly and easy enough once its apart, but the best part was putting it back together and on the spares shelf, lol.
UPDate, I'm late! The new boom cylinder also digs a little harder -- I ran into a couple of hard cedar stumps and now the backhoe digs and cuts roots better. Apparently no more seepage around O-ring(s)...The boom does not drop down under extreme pressure now until the safety bypass valve kicks in.
Mo' betta' !
ps: this boom cylinder bar code label said "KB2385" and was the same dimensions as the old boom cylinder off my KB2375 hoe.
