New Holland 575 Baler Hydraulic Issues

Started baling today and the hydraulic tensioner will not get tight (bales loose) then it started shooting oil out the gauge. Help!! I can't find the book and my dad passed away in December so I can't ask him.

My condolences on the loss of your father. If oil is exiting gauge then I suggest to replace gauge then attempt operating baler again noting pressure on new gauge. Be sure to check level of oil reservoir located on baler near the hyd pump before operating baler. Do you have access to your balers operators manual? If not I suggest for you to acquire an operators manual & read it.
