Dealer is not moving onthe price of the used 3320 $24,000 out the door.

Went to another JD dealer he has a 2010 3520 on the lot, sitting all winter.
Price with 300CX FEL, 375 BH, $34,000 out the door.

Plus as we talked I asked about loading the tires with Rim Guard, he agreed -no extra charge. Plus I would get 48 month 0%.

I left saying I would think it over and discuss with wife he said he was going to call JD and see if he can more incentive to sellold stock.

Looking like about a $10,000 diffrence between used 3320 and new 3520.

What do you think???

Much depends upon the options that are included in the tractor package. But a quick visit to the JD "Build your own" indicates that the MSRP is somewhere around $38.9K.

At 15% off MSRP that puts the deal around $31.4K. I'd guess if the tractor has been on the lot for a spell the dealer might entertain an offer for even less than that..

Good luck.

You've gone from a 2520 to a 3520...that's a heck of a step up, don't ya think?
I think you've got the fever!!! (Had it, got the bigger tractor and now I've got my shots so I should be OK for a while).

I've had three tractors, all Deeres. A 670, a 790 and my current 4400. All were very nice used machines. The 670 and the 790 were both great fits for my usage. The 4400 is a bit of overkill, but I do love that reverser transmisson (power's nice too).
All told, those three tractors combined prices aren't what that 3520 is going for.

However, if you have the bucks, and you want a tractor that size (which is the same frame as the 3320), then you need to do what you need to do. If you plan on using this mostly as a mower on an acre or so...well, might be a bit much though.

I agree its a lot of money, I know I started with looking at the new 2520 then the used 3320 was the same price as the new 2520 but 3 times the machine. I really like the 3320 and I can live with the $24,000 price tag, no warranty trouble same and I do not know how much it was abused during the 600 hours.

But the new 2010 3520 (same tractor as the 3320) with newer model BH.
Since I really do not "need" the larger machine it comes down to.
How much is the warranty and 0% fian. worth?

I can leave my $24,000 invested, and make payments, have new machine without worry of how it was used.

I am not mowing a lawn, I am buying Backhoe and loader for this tractor

I am going to agree with AKfish, build the 3520 with what you need and deduct 15% and that is a decent price for the machine. My 4520 was 18% off for a new ordered tractor, 15% off is fair for both you and the dealer. You can still get the 0% financing with this discount structure too.
