Let it go, Waxman. I much prefer to hear and see pictures of your cool mods... I know you appreciate all the positive responses you get when posting something you are proud of just like the rest of us. Sounds like you just want to continue a personal battle. If 4shorts chimes in do you expect a resolution or more vitriol? Just curious where your heart is at? I am not condoning 4shorts recent choice of words. As I said earlier, I thought he came across a little harsh and a few folks let him know. Is that not enough?
It is no secret I do not respect 4shorts, it is certainly not because of his work. He does excellent work and he was always a great inspiration to me. He is the reason I did my own mods on my tractor. I always left great praise for his work and it is well documented on these forums . If you go back to his large BX thread (the one he deleted all his pictures because no one commented on them within a 24 hr period) you will see what I'm talking about.
In return if ever people started to comment positive on my mods he would step in and leave remarks that ended up closing 2 of my threads and deleting 1 altogether. The posts were deleted by the moderators.
One was after 8 or 9 pages of positive remarks and comments from others about my work, after tons of pictures and hours of work by me I had to start the thread all over again.
Once I did start making mods 4shorts took it personally as all the attention was not always on him.
Once I said to him in a post Paul you and I are a lot alike we are both are garage owners, we both like making things from nothing. We like working in the shop. I have restored many of the same things like you have in your room, like the coke machines, scales etc.
He replied Gee it's only Tuesday and I already had the laugh of the week. You may think we are alike but I'm afraid you're nothing like me, there are things I have done that I don't show etc, etc
Oh man you might think I was taking to GOD himself. After that I stayed away from posting to his threads except I would point out if his post was contradictory to an earlier post of his.
One day many months later he pm me and said he wanted to make some decals for my tractor Ok thanks that was very nice of you this is at the same time my inclinometer thread came out.
So his nice wife made some beautiful decals for me, we were good again, I thanked them both, then shortly after I received the decals My inclinometer thread was posted.
He did not like that, sure he posted nice job but with a warning to others not to put anything up by the windshield because the defrosters won't work.
Well we had a pretty bad winter last year and my windshield never fogged up once. Just his way of telling others that like the mod it's not so good. Then he came out with this video below out of the blue.
This is a guy who pretended to be my friend. But I was getting too much attention.
Like I said I was one of Paul Short biggest supporters, left the most and the most positive comments to all his posts, that is until he made the two videos about my inclinometer, warning people not to do what I did.
Totally lied about the content of the email and how he passed the email around at dinner. If he passed that email around at dinner he would have liked like a fool in front of all his friends because of the context of the email was not that way at all.
My wife says when he lies, he itches his ear, I would have to agree with her since he did flat out lie at that point. My wife and I know he lied so does he and his wife but yet the video is still up today telling the lie.
dragoneggs your his biggest supporter, now thats Ok but I'm not looking to be friends with the guy. You know the story but others don't. People with 10 posts 100 posts don't know the story. I'm talking to them.
