New Kubota BX25-D Mod

I wasn't producing them because it was my intent to sell the design and that's just about done so I felt I better caution you. If you proceed it won't be my battle and could cost someone a heck of a lot of money in the process. It happened last year and it was MY battle then which I won. Taking others designs is not only bad taste but very poor judgment financially on anyone's part especially from an educator like yourself. Sharing the files can make you liable for MY design and copyright. You be the judge. Ask yourself, Is it worth it? That's all I have to say on the topic. The next person who you talk to on this copyright topic won't be me and the company involved is watching this very closely.

He never had your design, You never had your design, you made it as you went. Do you have patent drawings of your unit? I will bet the drawings are not the same as what he posted.

He made up his own design from his own facts and figures. Its not like he bought your piece that was never availble for sale, took it home and copied it. He never had your Kwick con adaptor to go by, he used his own backhoe to design his version of the backhoe adaptor you copied in the first place. QA for backhoes have been out for years, your design is nothing different then anything thats out there. Same as your tire lift, no one can make one but you?

You went on a public forum parading your work for your own personal satisfaction, its now fair game for others to copy, you gave your ideas out for anyone who wants to make one.
If you were planing on selling your copy of a QH then you should have kept it quite until you sold it.
I do agree he should not use the same name as yours.
But to shame him on a public forum for making his own version of the design you copied from someone else is just wrong, bad taste my *** . How do you live with your bad taste?

A simple PM to him would have gave notice, but why PM when you could have the public glory of shaming him.

Pattens and copyrights are public knowledge In fact it must be public knowledge because until it is public someone else can file their own claim first.

Post the link for your Tire lift and your kwik Con adaptor patents and make a complete fool out of me on line. Now is your chance. Or are you talking you have a picture with a copyright watermark on it? Post it You'll have my humble apologies.

I was under the impression that people on TBN were here to share ideas and help each other out. I have seen many people share what they have made so others could copy and build there own without being the threat of law suite.
I guess some on here are out for the money instead of helping and sharing with other or like to try show everyone else how much smarter they think they than the rest of us.
It's funny how 4shorts-Paul couldn't wait to replay when he was getting complaints once they stopped he's gone.
If you don't want others to use your ideas here don't post them. If your here only to promote yourself and make money than maybe you should just do an info commercial.

Just my 2 cents

I wanna keep this whole quick attach debate in perspective. The quick attach bracket is nothing new. Yeah Paul made one for a Kubota BX. Big rip. He made a nice quick attach but it's just like all the rest. It's the same design as those used on track hoes by multiple manufactures! Heck these quick attaches are even used on scale model radio control excavators available from multiple manufactures in Germany. It's not a new idea.

I admire 7 for making a quick attach using CNC equipment. And he has great craftsmanship! Plus he exemplifies the new sprit of "Makers". Passionate people who create and build things! The very foundation of the industrialized United States! Plus he has a great attitude!

As for Paul... You're a bit threatening and not being very nice. You should feel great pride in having someone wanting to emulate your work and be inspired by it.

I have multiple patents and patents pending. The last thing you do is post pictures of your device or invention all over popular message forums and social media. Especially before said device is protected by a patent. This is considered public disclosure. Or as I like to say... Letting the cat out of the bag. Once it's out... You can't catch that sucker and put it back in! Of course the cat in question has been out of the bag for YEARS.

I've seen some very creative devices and machines built on TBN. I think it's a great place to share ideas and chew the fat. But if you have business intentions with your ideas DO NOT POST THEM. (0:

Have a great evening ya'll!

I have been spending the last few days preparing for my apology once the copyrights links are posted,

This is the kind of stuff he puts out on youtube, here he is answering a question from a youtube fan.

Your very kind and thank you for your vote of confidence. I also appreciate your efforts but they will fall on def ears because Kubota Canada is the company we deal with in Canada. My father always said "The better you treat people the worst they treat you back" That's the way it was with Kubota. I have personally helped thousands of Kubota customers since 2008 via emails and phone calls both on your side of the border and ours. We've put up dozens of video's as well not to mention bought their equipment yet it wasn't appreciated at all in our opinion so with that, it is what it is and Kathy and I will put it behind us. The company we are in talks with now have never made a dime off of us yet are treating us very respectfully and that's a great start.
Again. Thank you Rick for your support. ;)

I guess he expects Kubota should pay him because he bought two tractors and made a few mods. Helped thousands of Kubota customers. Right, Wow is he full of himself. Thousands like more then 1,000 Kubota customers he has helped with emails and phone calls. I don't believe the Kubota parts man behind the counter would make that claim.
Sorry but this is the kind of Bull S*** I pick up on.

Kubota probably has never herd of him. If they have they would of told him stop cutting ROPS.
Why would any company need to work with him when they have there own engineers. I call foul on that one.
Never herd of a father telling there son "the better you treat someone the worst they treat you" that tells me all I need to know about him.
I have never met or talked to him. I just didn't like the way he went after 7 even after he said he would stop making product.

Let it go, Waxman. I much prefer to hear and see pictures of your cool mods... I know you appreciate all the positive responses you get when posting something you are proud of just like the rest of us. Sounds like you just want to continue a personal battle. If 4shorts chimes in do you expect a resolution or more vitriol? Just curious where your heart is at? I am not condoning 4shorts recent choice of words. As I said earlier, I thought he came across a little harsh and a few folks let him know. Is that not enough?
