No need for an argument! Simply define the words and I WIN!!
Sorry but assembly isn't building, I don't care how many of what group of people work in a plant that is an other country what really counts needs to count and if you want to say built in USA then it needs to be built here or simply don't try and use it as a comparison point or selling point. I don't accept this from Ford/Chevy/Dodge or Even Harley when they say only some of the parts are imported and wont accept it from Kubota/Kioti/Massey or any other brand. Build it here honestly if you want to say its built here or don't say it!
Also just because some Feel Good legislation inspired by some overpaid lobbyist who happened to put a lot of money into an election so that they could be allowed to LIE to the uninformed does not change the True meaning of something being built here or there so please don't insult us by using that line of excuse!
Win? Win what? An understanding that companies mislead consumers to buy there products?
Ever bought free range and organic eggs? Did you know that the definition of free range can be categorized as the chicken has access to a small outdoor pin, that's it, that chicken doesn't have to go outside nor does there have to be grass or anything in this small exterior pin, as far as organic the hens can be fed "feather meal", its feathers from other hens shredded and used as a filler in there feed.
So when people pay $5 for a dozen of organic, free range, cage free eggs, the quality of the eggs are no better than the .85 white dozen.
You won't find anything mechanical in this country that was fully "Built" and assembled here, not anymore. Idk who's the winner in that scenario.
