New Kubota pullover hat.

Picked this up at a dealer recently and have to say it is a great hat. Not too thick and not too thin. OK to stay warm without a hood and yet fits under my hooded jacket just fine. I give it two thumbs up. Those Mahindra hat people have nothing on this one. It's a winner with me at $6 and change.

This hat needs "KUBOTA Embroidered (sewn) on it to make it a KUBOTA hat and that's the topic. I've got lots of KUBOTA hats but I don't have either one of these with KUBOTA on them. Hope I don't have to buy another KUBOTA to get one.:laughing:

I got one of those too...In red plaid... with the string tied in a bow knot on top. Makes me look like a cross between my old man, George Utley (AKA Tom Poston) and Elmer Fudd. Great hat!! :thumbsup:

I wish all Filson gear was made in the USA. My favorite Alaska guide shirt has always been made off-shore (and still is) and has turned into some kind of wimpy flannel thing. Grrr.

Little known fact here Roy--I was hit with #7 1/2 birdshot while hunting with my moron friend 15 years ago. A couple serious ones went in me but amazingly, my Filson vest stopped maybe 100 pellets. You never know for sure but without my Filson this page would likely be blank.

So I called Filson to tell them of my good fortune with their product and basically got a yawn. That's all you got?
Apparently, Filson waxed goods have saved many a nimrod from birdshot to bear bites and worse. Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin', so to speak...
