Good idea..Connie Crete.. I had just the number on it.then the local free news paper delivery guy keeps giving me 2 papers. Maybe "Connie Crete will get some invites for credit cards.

Around here, we have no kids beating them with baseball bats, but lots of poor plow drivers. Had to replace it twice last year. Not fun in the snow!

New solution when I get around to it (read "When I get a tractor with post hole digger") is to put a normal break away post in between two 6 in diameter metal posts sunk deep in the ground with concrete inside of them. Kinda like what you see around an ATM. I'll even paint them yellow and put reflective tape on them.

The box will be breakaway, just not the surrounding poles.

Looks pretty sturdy. We had issues with **** kids blowing ours up so I bought another cheap mail box and lined the bottom with stone from the driveway. Never happened again after that. The kids must have gotten peppered with the stones and gave up the life of crime. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
