Guys, I'm sympathetic to your plight..However, go easy on the dealers that participate here...This issue has only been out there for a few weeks. Give Kubota a chance to respond. I'm certain that they will address this as they always do when the issue is severe...They replaced seats on BX23's because they weren't positioned perfectly (I missed the ability to take advantage of that one sadly)...I paid a ton for both of my Kubotas and I'd be ticked too...My previous RTV500 had some new machine issues and Kubota took care of them...Go easy, just sayin'....I have no connection whatsoever to Kubota or Messik, I'm just a fellow owner.
New stuff almost always have bugs and hopefully this one is isolated and quickly correctable...Give them a chance.
There seem to be a few that I know of that don't have this issue so it may very well be isolated to a certain run of production and that will take some time to hunt down..If they don't resolve this quickly, I'd ask them to take it back...
If you already own one and have this problem, stay on your dealer. If you don't, let the process run it's course.
Bad-mouthing accomplishes nothing
Tailrotor...my intention was not to back you up but to make the point that it is not a wear or abuse issue but an out of the box problem.
Timswi....I didn't intend to bad mouth and don't feel that I have. I was just making a point. If they (Kubota) are going to try to justify it as the way it was designed then there is no way I want it. Also, making an adjustment in the front end will not fix the play in the rear wheels. You mention that there are a few you know of that don't have the problem. Have they jacked their machines up and checked? There have been two or three I know of who did so and in fact found out there was play in the rear wheels.
ETA: one other thing. They say the old machines had play in the rear wheels. Mine did not. Jack yours up and see if it does
