So long story short I listed my tractor on Craigslist and if I can sell it I will trailer somewhere and pick up a new machine out of state. I plan on getting the 1720 this time instead of the 1710.

From what I understand, the updated GC series seat is not interchangeable with the old seat. A dealer on youtube was able to provide the part numbers for the upgrade if you wish to go this route. I am probably going to buy the steering wheel but then going with an aftermarket seat. Im sure upgrading all of these parts and the new seat is going to be expensive through the dealer.

They finally replaced the brutal seat. I am torn now as between ordering the new seat ( although very $ ), taller steering wheel and larger quick connects..... do I buy the parts for my 2015 GC1710 or trade it for the GC1720 I wish I would have bought.... 
In all serious though, regarding the larger quck connects, I would think that would be a fairly inexpensive upgrade. I wonder how much difference it makes as I do feel the bucket curl is very slow. Even compared to my GC2310 I had.

Mad Hatter I went ahead and sold mine private party in ordered a new 1720 with all the features I wanted and 0 hours. It was cheaper than buying those three upgrades separately... For me
