2020 TYM 474
I purchased new chains for my TYM T474. Seem to be good quality, fit my tractor, and clears everything.

still need to pick up some tensioners though.

I was nervous about chains clearing the wiring in the first picture which is why I bought this style: 1.0x 43/16.00x20 Aquiline Multi-Purpose (MPC) Tire Chain - 43/16.00x20

I’ll need to shorten things a bit when it’s not 20 degrees outside!

purchased from “tire chains required”

That seems like almost an extreme slack if they were supposed to be properly dimensioned for 43x16x20? I have just the plain jane Duo chains.....and they don't need any tighteners on rear nor front.

Agreed! I’ll need to shorten them up to fit properly. I just slapped them on to be sure they were big enough before too much time passed. Don’t really need them now so I’ll spend time when it’s warmer to adjust them up correctly. Hope I don’t need tensioners. Looks like yours work great!

How much were these and where did you buy them? I was looking at the Trygg chains, which are very similar but very expensive.

Wow. That looks like a serious snow moving machine. I have been waiting 9 months for a front snow blade for my tractor. Struggled by with just the bucket this winter so far.

It's a beast, I think I've found the ideal setup for my intended purpose. hydraulic blade on FEL and inverted snowblower on rear.

Why have both? Just wondering.
If you had to make do with just one, which would you choose?
I don't think I can make both happen for my application

Chains total cost me $600 for front and rear, it was cheap insurance as much moist and mild winters Montana have anymore, with the ice that comes with it when you have a very steep driveway. Put chains on the rear if you're on limited budget.

I strongly recommend avoiding using rubber bungee cords for spiders. They won't last and break easy. If walking chains can cause damage to your machine it will.
