took about 2/3rds of the gallon to fill. Hope it wasn't driven in 4WD much (doubt it actually).
It holds about 7 or 8 qts so it was ok not ideal but all the parts that need lubed would have been enough at 1/2 full.
You are ok dont even give it a second thought a leak may crop up now its topped off and explain it
and it sounds like the rest was taken good care of you are fortunate to have found a 30 year old machine in that good of condition great find! :thumbsup:

Check the level for a couple of days. It takes a long time for the gear oil to settle in. Did on my 276D anyhow.
Ditto on my ym2002d.
