I installed a new tooth bar on my DX33 today and thought I'd share a few before and after pics. This is one heavy duty unit and it made a world of difference in how it digs!
I couldn't tell you manufacturer as I got it off of EBay very reasonable....one of the few deals I have gotten off there. It has the replaceable teeth and it is heavy duty.
I had been looking to get one and was about to order from Markham. I ws snooping about EBay one evening and came across this tooth bar....brand new w/ replaceable teeth. I thought there was no way this thing would go for the $150.00 it was posted for. I wound up getting it for $162.50 and there was only one other bidder....sometimes you get lucky!
It looks just like my Markham (only bigger), so you may have gotten one from them after all. Seemed that when I was looking, all the different mfrs I looked at each had their own distinctive looking toothbars.
It's a New Holland skid loader bar. I have the same thing on my NH TC33 60in. bucket. It's 10X more toothbar than we have tractor. It's engineered for the 80hp 8000# skidloader to rip the crap out of things. Has allowed me to dig better and great for ripping out rootballs and holding onto branches during transport to the burn pile. I tack welded 8-10 washers to take up the slack on the ends. Only drawback is it wont fit over replaceble cutting edge-BUT I was told there is another tooth bar that does fit over .
I'll give it one thing it is heavy duty. Mine fit over the factory edge of the bucket fine. I had to use 4 washers on the inside of both sides and then used some bushing to take up the space between the 1/2 inch bolt and the remaining space in the mounting flange. They must use some big !@# bolts to mount that thing on the skid steer. Anyway it was a bargain! Can't wait to tear up some dirt with it!!
