Ok heres my new setup with the tie downs finally in place. I loaded it up tonight to check the chains, new binders, new tie downs etc. Some of you may note that I did not put the load binder on the front bucket as I was just using an old chain to show what I planned on doing but didn't bother to get my old knuckle busting binder out.

Heres another with my new ratchet binders. These are the best they have a 3 way cam for tightening, loosening, and free wheeling so that you can quickly loosen or tighten without the ratcheting. You can also fold the handle over when done and lock it in place so that it deters theft (at least that is what they advertise).

I like the locking feature to make sure the cam stays in the tightening mode when traveling. You can see I have a clip in this one.

I bought 4 of these from EBAY for $115 shipped from Oregon to NY.

They are very nice units.

Here is another shot. For the BX owners, notice I find that the front bracket with 3/8" clevis holds perfectly on the corner. And the rear where the draw plate seems perfect like in this photo.

If anyone see's any problems with my new tie down setup, please let me know. I think I have it perfect now, the only issue will probably be loosing some paint where the clevis attaches, but I can always paint that periodically.

Thanks for lookin!

Very nice rig. Based on how yours looks on the trailer, I would think you could fit a BX23 pretty easily on a 14' over the 16'. I'm trying to not buy the 16' for size issues. I might put the hoe on and chalk out some boxes 14' and 16' and see how my fit is. I could put four ATVs on a 16' however. That would be a bonus.

If I had 4 ATV's I could see how that would be nice, but since I have NO ATV's then I guess I will just have to dream along and envy you /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wait my BX is an ATV well as close as the CFO will let me get to one at least /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Nice job and looks very nice. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
