Yowza! Thanks Messicks is right! That looks real comfy. I can't wait to get it on. That old one was killing me in the summer after 45 mins cutting the lawn. Its the angle of the defective one that is way out of whack. It is nowhere near the 90 degrees the replacement approaches. And the lower portion is slanted like a downhill run placing constant pressure on your spine and muscles just to fight with it. Not to mention the molded foam on the new one. It looks awesome!

Just got the new seat yesterday and tried it today. This thing is great. I called my dealer for the second time friday and he said he had a few with 43 more on order and if I wanted to pick it up this weekend I could. Feels like a whole new rig!!!

I know this helped me. Since getting my tractor I always thought man this seat sucks, why does it even have a back on it..!!! Then I saw this thread and harps from heaven played and the sun shined down. My seat cost me $80 plus the old one and I was cut a "break"! I think some dealers are figuring out supplies are low and folks will pay for the few remaining, mine had one in stock.

I just got my new seat on. With this new seat I feel like I'm on one of those
fancy tractors with the bells and whistles I gave them back the old seat
and I got the new seat FREE !!! all part of the great customer service.

I was sick of the machine shutting down when I was facing down hill and went to backup. I didn't even ask if I had to pay for the new seat and I didn't. by the lineup of old seats that were on the bottom self, I could have kept the old one two!!!

I drive by Sparta Farm & Lawn everyday, looks like I better stop in and see the boys.

I really am just sick and tired of waiting and waiting.

I contacted Kubota in March of last year and complained about the seat, they said contact the dealer. Stopped by the dealer, they said I could buy a new seat for $600. Emailed again complaining abot the seat, no response.

Found out about the replacements and stopped by the dealer in June the same day he found out about it, put my name on list. Stopped back twice over summer and fall.

Emailed Kubota again around mid November, they emailed me back that they had all kinds of seats in parts stock but the replacements were a one time deal that ended June 10th and there was absolutely no reason a dealer could not get me a seat thru parts. I emailed them back that no I was on the list to get a replacement seat and KUBOTA was not sending the seats to the dealer.

Got a call from the dealer a week before christmas saying Kubota was sendeng a seat out special for me and he would take one off a new tractor if I wanted him to. Of course I said no I could wait a week or so if Kubota was sending one. He said he would call when it came in.

Still Waiting.....

Now you see why I just give up, but I will stop at Sparta and see what they can do and I just might have a new friend.
