skippy957 I would have a talk with the main office that is what I done . I picked up mine today. Cost me 100 canadian.I attached pics to confirm this is the right seat. I placed it on a chair at home, haven't had a chance to put it on yet, and what a difference in comfort. The final test will be when it is on the tractor.

Thanks for the pics of the seat. Earlier in this thread, I read there are holes for the armrests. Don't see any on your seat. Does your old seat have armrests? Are there holes on your new seat?

Thanks for the info. BTW, does anyone know that the B and BX seats are the same model? Making that assumption since all these discussions refer to both tractor models.

Bolt holes are on the back of the seat. I am not sure if I am going to put them on the new seat, I don't use them.Yes there was arm rest on the old seat.

I think the bx series is physically a smaller machine than the B series from what I have seen of them on the internet.

Hey fiddler kelly---- I like the pic of the new seat on the chair....got me thinking- If I replace my office chair with a tractor seat maybe I'll enjoy work more

Yeah Skyco I couldn't wait till I had it on the tractor, the ultimate comfort test will be when I am using the tractor.

Everyone notice that the letter is clear in saying that the seat replacement applies ONLY to tractors invoiced (i.e. SOLD) from May 1, 2007 on, right?

If you bought your tractor, whatever model, before May 1st of this year this seat thing does not apply to you.

This is not correct. Anyone who purchased a tractor after May 1st that did not already have the new seat will recieve one at no charge. Anyone and everyone can take advantage of this.

i have the bolt holes in the back of my seat and they have lil plugs in them does this mean i have a new seat?

MOPAULY - not until the discussion turns to the correct method of installing the seat... some people just bolt it on, some bolt and tape, some bolt, solder and then tape... and there is only ONE right way...
