I just got off the phone with my dealer, Gaithersburg Equipment Co.
They are still trying to understand this Seat issue.
They now, as of today, acknowledge that they can get seats at a "reduced rate". What they are UNABLE to verify, is that Kubota is supposed to supply new seats, at no charge, for B & BX tractors purchased after May 1st.
They were on Kubota's Website, while I was on the phone, and cannot see or find this PIB-2007-027. They are in the Service Dept and think the PIB is a Sales Notice. (Doh!).
For now, I am in limbo. I haven't been turned away, or turned down, but, they are not having an easy time getting to the bottom of this.
I bought my BX2350 AFTER May 1st, 2007 and it's my understanding that Kubota is to ship the replacement seat for my BX, at some point?
But if my dealer doesn't even know about this program what will they do when/if my seat comes in? Sell to someone else? Return it?
For me, this makes about 5 phone calls, including FAXing them the PIB-2007-027 back on Aug. 1st.
This getting old.
All i am looking for is an acknowledgement ragrding my seat, i realize I may not see the thing until well into the Fall.

I know that Kubota makes good products; I hone one, but went they makes a mistake on a product they should rapidly correct it and also for free. I my case my dealer is a good one cause my seat did not cost me a penny.
I did not know that some forks have to pay for they new seat in replacement of one that was no good.
Big companies should be award of client's will to get what they pay big money for companies' products, those people want for what there paying for, a good product whit out problem.
Went I look at there website and see how much profit they make, I am not sorry to ask a seat for free.

I need a new seat (wore out from use) for my BX2200, wonder if any dealers might have a deal on some used seats?

I would contact my dealer-they may sell you a new seat for your BX at $25 plus freight.
I really did not have a problem with the old seat, but the new seat is much better so I RAN to get a new one.
Do the same. I bet the dealer will take care of you!
