Newbie Needs Guidance

Lindy, My previous post concerning the pricing is somewhat of an embarrassment ! I missed the the inclusion of the BH 75 due to attention deficit or maybe I can use the excuse that my first pair of glasses won't be here until Oct. 1st. The B3030 price is probably not bad. Again I would go with B3030.

No worries, kuuddha. It's always hard to do apples-to-apples pricing comparisons when the configurations people have bought (or want to buy) differ.

I got my B3030 with a 60" FEL and 72" MMM, but no backhoe. So it's difficult for me to comment on the quotes that deputy got. FWIW, I'd guess that prices have gone up a bit since I bought in January of this year (2008).

As always, in the pricing game, YMMV.

Well, finally decided and bought a new B3030HST at a negotiated price of $22,850.00 including a 60" LA403 loader and the BH-75A Back Hoe with a 12" bucket. Got the new 0% down 0% interest for 42 months. I added a Gearmore GAT-100 2-position adjustable Thumb; a 60" Land Pride BB1560 Box Scrapper with Rippers; a Land Pride PD25 Post Hole Digger with a 12 Pengo Auger bit; Gearmore 1000 clamp on Forks; and had hooks wleded onto the bucket.

Yes, kubuddha, I did visit other dealers in my search. I went to JD, New Holland, Maharinda, and five Kubota dealers. Had written quotes from several. This was the best I could do on price. It may be that it is because I am on the "Left Coast" or it may be the result of price increases since some of you bought your units.

I want to thank each of you who took time to respond to my initial post. Your input was helpful.
