Oh boy, a lawyer...just what we need more of...

In my defense I'm not going to be one of those ambulances chasers or corporate attorneys, and I'm not a trust fund baby like 99% of my law school students. I want to serve the public by being a prosecutor and hopefully one day a US Attorney.

Right now I wish I had gone to Law School, as the laws are fixing to clean my clock and I can't find a way around them!

I think we ALL wish we'd gone to law school right about now. They don't fire you at 55 years old and you make at least 4 times what I used to make as an engineer writing exactly the same contracts.

On the negative side, they make you wear a suit and tie. :(

Yep... that explains everything!!! :D A Texas lawyer aiming to buy a standard Texas vehicle particularly appropriate to his line of work! :)

Better be a dually with a diesel don't forget!!! :D

Wow this is a tough crowd.

I do need a truck to tow and to support my current five acres and any property we might by in the future. That said I'm probably the only Texan with two Subaru's as our daily drivers (wife has a Forester and I've got an STI). If and when we do get a truck it will be diesel and might be a dually, but it will not be a daily driver.

I'm just kidding you man! I remember my first trip into Dallas/Ft Worth. I was the only person on the road without a monster dually diesel or something bigger. I got used to it... but it took a while. That's BIG country you've got down there! :)

Yeah it is quite a trip zipping around in my tiny STI around these monster trucks, it seems that EVERYONE but me has a truck, and a big one at that.

Well you know what they say about men and their big trucks. They buy them to compensate for their small __ minds or something like that.

And yes I do drive a Chev Silverado 3500 Crew cab.

I think we can apply that to tractors as well  in some cases. There is this guy who lives in my area who has a huge Kubota cab model. It is always waxed and sitting in his driveway. Sometimes it moves in the driveway. I believe he uses his PTO driven snowblower in the winter; his driveway area is ~100'. He might snowblow his neighbors. I have never seen it used for anything else :(. To each his own. I drive a 2000 Tacoma 4X4 extended cab pickup :D. Jay

Good for you :D! There are many, many lawyers in the country who really are not in the profession for themselves (ie $). My wife is the financial manager for a government funded program providing non-criminal legal services for the poor. I can attest that these lawyers make a difference in bettering the lives of those who are not capable of advocating for themselves. They are saints and I might add non too rich. Jay
