The part number for the fix is K7561-91700. As I recall its not been a formal fix for more than a month.

Let's throw a little more fuel on this fire! I have had the RTV for exactly one year. I developed the "rattle" about five months age. I called my dealer. He obtained the replacement parts (which, at that time were the same as the original parts) and replaced everything. It took about two weeks for the rattle to return. I then tried the fix that Delfine TX put on the forum. It helped quite a bit, but I still get a little of the rattle.

I called my dealers service department on Tuesday of this week and spoke to the Service Manager about the service bulletin PSB-2005-047. He told me he was aware of it and would order the new parts. He called back about an hour later and told me the parts would be in the dealership on Friday and they would schedule to come out and make the repairs.

At this point we will just wait and see.

So far my rattles have been fixed with the updated yoke. Let us know how yours works out. But I still have the fogging gauges.

Alright, I picked up on a bit of insider info a few days ago. A good fix is comming for both the driveshaft and gauges. I got a few details about it and its different than whats being done now. Its not a patch, its a real fix. Its still going to be a few months before repair bullitins are published. While it might take time, I think everyone would rather see it be done right than get a patched up version that does not hold up.
My 2007 Gauges are fogging. I think Kubota never found the fix.(5 hours of run time on it)

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I am still dealing with the rattle. For those of you who had the "fix", could you update us on your status please. Interested to know what is going on, if it continues to work, etc. In reading some posts I see that Drago did the fix that was posted on the net.
I spoke to my dealer last week when I went in and purchased oil and filters and aske about the rattle issue. He acknowledged the problem but claimed Kubota has not come up with a fix. Is he right? I am getting so annoyed with the problem now after 3 years. My guages still fog as well.

Please post what you have done.

Thanks!

Well, I have not seen any posts since my last one so for those who are interested here is what I found out. My dealer says there still is no official fix for the problem. He knows of some who have taken the pin out and put in a high grade bolt and tighten it up as much as you can. He says he thinks Kubota will be comming out with an official fix before long. Ha...I guess we won't hold our breath, if we did we would be dead by now.

If I remember correctly Kubota released a bulletin last month or so,.. but it is not a warranty bulletin,. but new replacement parts information. Its a whole new FWA shaft and yokes.

If that is so, neither my dealer here or his rep seem to know anything about that. Got any more details?

You made me chuckle with that, sorry. I got so aggravated with Kubota over those gauges! I had 4 different sets of gauges that all turned a nice milky white in about 15 minutes. I finally gave up and figured Kubota was just incompetent. Fortunately, after a couple of years they quit fogging over. I was so glad to not have to see those two white orbs looking back at me!

Go figure, after all of the little issues got worked out on my RTV900 I sold it and bought a RTV1100. Now I've been calling Kubota, emailing them etc. about every other month for a year now about a defective weld on the driver's side door but zero response out of them. Why is it that with Kubota you have to become a huge loud arse to get them to do anything?? Kindly contacting them and kindly emailing them for months on end only gets you ignored. They make some great products but they are about the worst company I've ever had dealings with as far as responding to customers. Their complete and total lack of customer response drove me to purchase my last new tractor from a different company.

Hello...Kubota...you out there? When are you going to figure out that you can't endlessly continue to ignore the people who spend their hard earned money on your products. Believe it or not, your competitors have caught you on quality and are worlds ahead of you on support.
