NH 7308 Loader Owners

My TC30 with 7308 is supposed to be delivered tonight. I don't know if I'm going to have any issues or not, but I wonder if I can get on this list.

Danny, the fluid is supposed to be there just like Jerry said. It helps to prevent "flutter".

You don't have to flush out the gauge itself but you may want to flush out the hose. If you just hook up one just the one connector instead of hooking up both you probably won't have much or any fluid exchange. If you hook up both connections then fluid could flow through the hose and into your system. The hose in the gauge assembly could possibly have a little of all of our tractors fluids in it. Kind of like when you kiss someone, they say you are kissing everyone they ever kissed.

Before I even hooked up the gauge, I did some testing to see how much it would lift. I have 8 62lb weights, 9 55lb sandbags and 2 30lb weights. That's a total of 1050lbs (rounded down). I put all that weight in the bucket and had my 640lb finish mower hooked to the back for ballast. A picture is attached.

Did it lift it? (drumroll please),

Yes, it was able to lift the bucket to 66" high (to the bottom of the bucket). I tried to post a picture, but couldn't get it trimmed down to get below the 100k byte limit. I'll mess around with it some and see if I can get it.

Anyway, since the pressure is already at 1800lbs and it will lift 1050lbs, which is plenty for me, then I didn't adjust the valve.

Here's the picture of lifting 1050 lbs. The finish mower was barely enough ballast for that much weight. When I lowed it back down, I (unintentionally) jerked it when I stopped lowering it and the rear tires bounced off the gound a little.
