No Rotella T6

Hey all,
Stopped by my Kubota dealer yesterday to buy a few oil filters and seal washers to change oil in my 3540. I was also looking to purchase a container of T6 to top off my supply, no dice. Went to TSC, Napa, 2 huge tractor dealers no one has T6! Napa say they have none on East coast, What?

Local Walmart has been unable to get ANY of the Rotella oil for several months now. Shelves are empty. They had some of the Delo oil but I noticed about a month ago they were out of it also. Sure glad I stocked up last year!

NAPA often has it when others don't. Failing that, there's always Amazon.

I use one of three in my diesels; T6, M1, or Valvoline Syn 5w40.

I tried some Delvac, didn't like it. Too thin. Never tried Delo.

There's not a lot of difference in most of them

I bought the last six gallons of those from a major retailer last week and wanted seven or two five gal jugs, they didn't know when more was coming. They also only had one of the two fuel filters for my 250 which I thought was odd since they usually come as a pair. Also no idea when they'd get more. This is getting old

Luckily a few years back I started buying my next oil changes well in advance, but I am coming up on needing those fuel filters and I don't have them...one more stupid thing to start storing in advance I guess.

I try to stay at least one oil change ahead of the game. Always oil and filters for next one. Not sure why the habit, but may be wise in the next year or two to stay ahead. We don't realize how fragile our supply chain is. Hope it all gets caught up soon.

My Wally World has been out of T6 for awhile. I got it at Menards for the last oil change on my RTV X1120

Rotella shelf is empty.
I bought 1 jug the other day at TSC, last one on the shelf

There’s no T6 here, either.
I had to buy T4 in 5 gallon pails.
Walmart, NAPA, Auto Zone and Lowe’s all out of almost all Shell diesel oil.

There is something strange happening with Rotella T6. I just checked Amazon and people are selling it in a box of 3 gallons for $165!!!! Yet, Mobile 1 diesel synthetic is only selling for $32/gallon. In October, I bought T6 at Walmart for $24/gallon.

No Rotella at the Canadian Tire in my part of Soviet Canukistan either. I haven't checked my class 8 truck dealer, because I have several gallons at home here so I'm good for a while yet. I didn't notice if other brands were out of stock. I only noticed Rotella because someone was asking a store worker why there was none.

Asked our oil supplier at work about T6, he said no problem for drums...pails, gallons and quarts are not available from shell for most products right now.
