Yep. People who follow the rules have plenty of opportunities to do things the right way. I remember a friend of mine getting an exemption to use a crossbow years ago because of a shoulder injury.
In the end this isn't really about hunters as much as it is about people who do not follow rules and seem to think they are above the laws everyone else follows. People have little respect for animals or for private property. You can't ride yoru 4 wheeler off road in wilderness or in places like national parks, state parks, etc... for a reason. Not having unlimited motorized travel off road is what makes these places special and unique to visit.
I don't have enough interest to go back and look, but some seem to feel if someone breaks the law by riding into a restricted area, it would be just fine and kind of funny to disable the vehicle. One should not try to justify one illegal act as justification for another; seen quite a few people in criminal court who tried that.
If someone sees someone commit a criminal act, if so inclined, document, walk off and report it.
People who feel it is OK to damage someone's property or possibly put them in danger is one of the reasons I no longer hunt on public land or allow others to hunt or fish on mine. There are just too many chest pounders, Internet and otherwise.
