NX5510 radio plug?

AnyOne know if there is a wiring harness available that will plug into a factory kioti one? I'm just about ready to install the new stereo and hate to cut the factory plug off the harness if I don't have to.

I wasn't able to find one either. We could find one for the bobcat cab but nothing for kioti.

Yeah, figure best just to cut and add the new radios harness.

CB, late to this thread, so events may have overtaken this. I couldn't find an aftermarket harness, adapter, or even just the mating connector, either. When you cut the factory connector off, leave a couple of inches of wire. If for some reason you want to restore it in the future, you can (e.g. to sell w/o your stereo). This was what my dealer suggested to me.

got any pictures of the plug and/or the back of the stock radio? I am inclined to think it is going to match up with an automotive radio plug, it's just going to take some looking to see which one it is.

No I don't have a pic of the plug, I don't have a factory radio, didn't order the stereo with the tractor.

That appears to be the same form what I can remember, I just cut the factory plug off and wired on the new radios plug.

I got here too late to mention this. I put a radio in my LS cab tractor. I didn't even bother trying to locate a plug to mate with the LS radio plug. But I didn't cut it off. I installed small red male spade crimp connectors on the radio wires and plugged them into the tractor factory radio plug.

I JUST bought a nice ck2510 with dealer installed field cab The nice cab is complete with lights, heater, wiper and even the radio speakers but no radio. Anyone know approximate price of a Kioti cab radio? Is it feasible just go to the junk yard and pick a radio from an auto and install?

A factory radio price would probably give you a heart attack. I know one from LS did. I bought a new aftermarket universal compact digital AM/FM/CD radio from an auto parts store for about $59. and wired it in very easily. Unless you get an older junkyard radio most of them are now programmed to the vehicle vin number somehow and wont work if put in another vehicle without a dealer to program it.

I ordered mine off amazon for 49 bucks, it's a marine radio with AM/ FM / Weather band, USB, SD card, and auxiliary in. Oh and a remote

I didn't want blue tooth or dvd, but you can get those if you choose to for a lot less than a factory one.

This is what I installed in my NX4510HST Cab. Pyle PLMR19W Marine AM/FM/USB Radio - Walmart.com Same unit is available from other vendors and at Amazon, but WalMart had free store pickup and an easy return policy if it didn't work out. I figured for less than $50, I'd take a chance, as it has the weather bands for NOAA weather radio that I wanted. Turns out it's a nice little radio, with good sound and reception (hey, it's going in a tractor!). To pull the weather band in a bit better in my area I made a small antenna for it to screw into the factory antenna base after consulting with a radio communications buddy on the best length to match the wave length. That might not be necessary elsewhere.

THAT link supplied by three point flew me right to the radio. The radio happened to be on sale for $46.00 plus I got a concealed antennae for under $5.00. It ended up costing me about a dollar to have it shipped righit to my door. I'M THINKING their shouldn't require any extra programming to connect tihe radio to this field cab as a wiring plug and speakers are present. Thanks for the help.

If the field cab's factory plug is the same as on the DK and NX series, you are not likely to find an adapter. You can (1) snip off the factory plug (leaving a couple of inches of wire attached in case you ever want to replace it) and make the connections directly to the radio's harness with small wire nuts or better, or (2) do as George2615 did and crimp small spade clips to wires spliced into the Kioti harness without snipping off the Kioti plug, then plug the spade clips directly into the radio's connector. I'd considered doing the latter but was a little concerned about the integrity of my splices down the road.

Good luck with this. Do you have a link for the concealed radio antenna that you ordered? Iet us know how it works with the VHF weather bands once you get it installed. I gather your field cab did not come with a factory antenna.

I pulled another swithicheroo and ordered a concealed antennae with free delivery on EBAY. It cost me $3.80 complellte;

Then I bought a seller refurbished radio with free shipping and a 30 day guarantee for $42. I;m not so sure I would have taken the thing if I hAD reAD the whole listing to discover it had been refurbed by dealer but I have 30 days to send it back. There are hundreds of these Pyle Marine radios on EBAY and they are all or nearly all) refurbed by Manufacturing. I am not too concerned
aboout non working stuff but we will oon see. I will have it in a week and will report back.

Bobfarm41, thanks for this, and welcome to TBN! I pulled up the manual for that plug on the Crutchfield.com website (pdf attached below), and from the diagram it indeed appears to mate to the Kioti plug on the NX series, with corresponding terminal functions, plus has some additional terminals that would not be used by the Kioti harness. Have you confirmed this with an actual installation? I ask because things sometimes aren't what they appear from the import manuals.
