Obtrusive advertising links

TBN'rs,

Has anyone notice that on some forum titles, the second response link is an obtrusive ad that has nothing to do with the subject. It claims to be a sponsor link. Well if it's a legitimate advertiser - join the rest of the advertisers in their column.

Maybe the TBN admins can take care of this. Absolutely annoying.

I hated the popup when you weren't logged and were on a mobile device. Pop ups are much worse.

I do like the mobile apps, I use they almost exclusively. I only use TBN on the computer once or twice a week.

I don't know how I did it, but I see no advertisements anymore. Absolutely none. I hope it stays that way.

I am using Google Chrome.

Update.

Well I just found out how I got get rid of the advertisements.

Ad block plus 1.1.4 ver, for Google Chrome . It blocks Comcast ads also.

It still does not give me back a full page, the space for the ads are just blank.

TBN is a business, and they are here to make money. Im glad that we don't have to pay to join.

With that said I don t mind a few ads. Its the popups, moving ads, and wallpaper ads (where the background of the entire website is an ad) that bothers me.
