Off road dump trailer options

Nice trailer - good price too. Is the $3200 price from Berkleman shipped to your place or do you have to get it shipped to a dealer and then pay the dealer a commission on top of the $3200 ???

No that is shipped to my house. I also got a reply on the 4ton trailer which looks nice as well, but it's too big for what I want.
Price for the 4t was 5k delivered to me.

I think I'm going to go with the 2t but waiting to hear back from Pronovost. Also looking on Craigslist for used but don't come across many of them.

Wrong time of year. Wait until construction slows down in the fall and the contractors that are just squeaking buy have to sell something.

OK Piston thanks. I have been watching CL for a year. Lots of dump trailers but most to big and with little clearance for woods roads. I have seen a couple farm trailers but they were big too.

Piston, Townline Equipment had a red on their lot last summer. Also the guy in Middleton (advertises on CL) sells them. Both might be worth a call. :confused3:

The lighter the better as your machine won't handle too much. Ask me how I know?

This Taylor -Way was 1900 lbs. and a real clunker in the woods behind my 5500lbs. piece of junk L3940.

I ended up building one to suit my needs quite similar to the single axle you are looking at. The difference using it in the rough is night and day and I can get more product in my homemade unit that I could in this dual axle setup that had low side gates. This thing weighed a bunch and handled like crap. The good thing is I sold it for as much as I paid for it 3 years later. They hold value if you take care of them.

This thing works oh so well and I've had it chuck full of mud and it dumps great. It's light enough for me to manhandle around the yard myself too.

Here's the build or idea:

This one handles quite well behind the smaller Kioti CK2610 also.

I DO still hate my tractor, Fred

I like your Mustang. I had a 2012 GT just like yours and, I like the toilet paper over the plates on the trailer. Gives it that "rural" feel....

Got rid of my pickup so she could have that new convertible, now if I can just get her to take the trash to the dump behind that thing.....

Same answer every time, "I don't know how to back up a trailer."
