Those are great looking Golden's, Pete.
I've got to tell you that when we were talking about getting a dog, I wanted a Golden also. But my wife wanted a Yorkie./w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif Well...........she's a really cute Yorkie!/w3tcompact/icons/love.gif
We named her Bailey, and she's technically a Doll Faced Silky, which is bred as a show dog. She was born with a slight imperfection, so we got her for half the normal price.
Now I have to admit, I was disappointed when we (wife) decided on the Yorkie, but I wouldn't change her (Bailey - well, the wife too!/w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif) for anything. She loves to climb up on my shoulder and curl up around my neck and go to sleep (Bailey - not the wife!) She's only 5 pounds! But she has the fearlessness of your Goldens. We had her out to local PetSmart store awhile back, and as she was dragging me around the store, she turned a corner and came nose to nose to a Rotweiler. He could've had her for a snack, but she had him backing up and turning to run the other way!/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif The Rotweiler's owner didn't look too pleased, but hey, that's what happens when you get a wimp for a pet! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
Anyway, I guess it doesn't really matter how big or small they are, they're just great to have around. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
