Oil Recirculation in closed loop system

So the fluid returning to tank is determined by the steering control valve position, ie whether turning left or right? This thread has been a great read.

In reference to our Power-Tract, yes. We have an open center steering system with PB, and has priority over any other valve in the circuit. .

There are other hyd steering systems that are closed center, and Load Sensing .

Orange is pressure, green is tank. Turn the wheel and they reverse. Right? I think I finally get it. :cool2:

Now David, tell us which way the the PT is turning in your pictorial.

Front of PT is at bottom of pictorial.

Am I looking at it from the top or bottom or, should I say, from underneath or above? ;)

It doesn't matter if you know where the front is.

Will the machine be in a left turn or right turn?

Well, if your looking at it from above, the right ram is extended, so its turning left. If it just ran over you, and you're looking up at it, the left ram is extended, so its turning right.

I never ate crow, but my grandma made me eat a bluejay one time.

I have to ask why?

My father-in-law said he had a grandfather that would eat sparrows. It wasn't because it was the depression, either. He just liked to trap and eat sparrows. :confused3:

When I was a kid and had a BB gun, I was shooting anything that moved, and my grandma told me that I had to eat what I shot.

I shot a bluejay that looked real plump, she cooked it up for me, and I tried to eat it, but did not taste good at all.

Don't know if she put something in it to taste bad, or it just didn't taste good anyway.

Another short story.

Me and my brother had BB guns, me a pump action, and him a lever action.

We got into a BB gun fight, and I out shot him by three to one ratio with that pump.

We never thought about getting shot in the eye or nothing, it was just a battle.

He gave up and ran. So I won.

The question was which way would the machine turn in your pictorial, not the person. But anyway what if the person was laying on his stomach.

Answer would be left turn.

But anyway what if the person was laying on his stomach.
The question would be moot because he couldn't see the steering rams...

I didn't say his face was in the ground.

If his face was sideways, he could still see the orientation of the front tub.

He probably could not see anything as he would be crushed with his eyeballs lying on the ground.

How come some of you are trying to make it harder.

It was obvious in the pictorial in post 94 which way the machine would turn with the front at the bottom.

The machine would be in a continuous left circle.

Very few people display pictures from the view of looking up.

Anyway, I hope everyone knows where the fluid is going, and how the cyl are configured.

Black fluid? No one has every said anything similar. Milky colored maybe.

Okay, so I decided to take a break from the heat and figured I should learn how to make one of these GIF's (I hate MossRoad). Took way too long but now that I have it figured out, I could make a nicer one in much less time.
