Pallet forks was one of the first things I got. Just saves my back. One of the uses is to move stuff up and down (depending on season and what is needed) from loft in shop. The loader doesn't go as high as I would like, but it is close enough that we can move stuff up and down...

Best investment I ever made. Pallet forks allows the tractor to do all the lifting. Sure makes it easy on your back. I would not own a tractor without a set

David I looked up the stump grinder, and it looks awesome. Do you mind telling us about what price class it is in? I would like to have one, but I am thinking I would never be able to afford/justify one. I have some stumps, but not as many as you are going to have.

MarkV,

The wife said, buy the grinder and own it for 20 years and not pay all that money to a contractor...

That was her logic. I hope it is valid.

David

Great wife! I bet you are learning that her "logic" is a bonus! Oh, by the way, forks are useful on BOTH ends of the tractor. Each has it's own capabilities.

James,

I am Happy to Share. I got the TSG-50 for $3450, just added onto my loan contract. NO additional down payment.

I believe I could have gotten them from another Woods dealer in Richmond for $3250 (I think he has higher volume & lower accessory prices but Mahindra tractors), but I had beaten my dealer up on so many of the other parts, I just let this one roll. I was not about to go to the other dealer and start a second transaction.

Some of the stuff I bought I got a killer price on, some of it I may not have gotten the best price. But at the end of the day, I like the dealer, and they like me, and I believe we will get along for a long, long time.

I am hoping it is a killer stup grinder... I had approx 300 to 400 trees per acre (some were very small, some were not...).

PS - There is a very nice and only a couple years old double wide on 17 acres for sale at the end of the pavement, right where my gravel easment starts. It would be GREAT to have a TBN guy for a neighbor! You could just borrow my stump grinder...

Be well!

David

Thanks for the kind offer David, The stump grinder was about what I thought it would be. Let us know later how it works out. Hey how about I let you borrow my welder if you let me borrow that grinder once in a while:D

Its DEAL!!!! WOO HOO WELDING!!!

Actually, I am looking into renting or borrowing a welder and with a buddy who actually knows how to weld, making a ballast box carrier thing!

TSC has an interesting 3-point bracket mounted base that looks EASY to modify. My dealer offered to let me have one of the steel brackets the tractor come in so they can assemble them so I could cut it up and make this, and my buddy has access to lots of scrap steel (he works at a rebar and metal factory).

WOO HOO Welding! ;)

I just used mine to lift trees while limbing and cutting off rounds. Made getting firewood for the season WAY WAY easier. don't know how i got along without them for so long.
