Ouch! 19 hours on 3320 that was "ordered"?

I think I would rather have the 2010 model with a discount and the tier 3 rather than the new tier 4 emissions... 19 hours is nothing in the life of the machine.

I got a huge discount on my 2008 L5740 bought new Sept 2011 with .9 hrs right at 103 hrs now and still smells new :)
I am in agreement here, but only if they hugely discount it. I certainly wouldn't pay tier IV prices for a tier III tractor even if both had 0 hours. Most claims are that tier 4 adds $3-4K in price although I would bet that soon dealers with the tier 3 will be adding a premium to the price because it is tier 3 rather than 4 and less maintenance/operation cost.

Tier 4 is coming on the 2014's, but is not on the '13's. Good reason to jump on a '13 if you're in the market.

What did they do drive the tractor from one dealer to the other, mine had only .7 hours on it

Xring ???????????????????????? I said .5, not 5. That is .2 hours less than you had????????????????

As I said earlier, what concerns me most is the dealer was in on the lie. There's nothing else you can call this. It is/was a lie. The dealer and salesman lied to the buyer and tried to pull off a switch. I would love to stare them in the eyes and hear their explanation. What a joke.

Beyond that, they should be offering the buyer a substantial discount or as mentioned free services, etc. I'm not talking a few hundred dollars of goodies. I'm talking a couple thousand dollars. As mentioned above, some of the free or discounted services should have been offered in the original deal anyway. Such as filter sets, oil changes, etc., at cost.

And on top of that, a savvy buyer could have purchased that 3 year old tractor at a savings of at least $3000, maybe more. Whether it's better to own a pre-EPA model or not is irrelevant.

The offer to provide a new tractor now is what the legal world would call "An out of court settlement". How embarrassing and degrading.

I'm not sure there's anything this dealer could now do to rebuild my confidence in them. Every time I shadow their door I would feel the deception. Every department of that dealership was involved and you know it was the topic of many whispering conversations amongst the employees, first that this deception would be attempted, second that the buyer fell for it......

13.9 hours on the trans, 0.1 on the PTO.

I have to agree with Richard. There is just no way I could really trust them in the future.

the more i read this the more i get confused.if the tractor is a 2010 new the dealer shouldve told you that.an in turn given you a good deal to buy it.an they shouldve told you it had 19hrs on it.i bought a new tractor in july.an it had 10hrs on it when they delivered it.the dealer didnt tell me the hours it had on it but i wasnt upset as i saved $7000 on it.

Some machines (with a digital panel) have an hourmeter for the engine/transmission and a separate one for when the PTO is on.

:confused:I'm still confused. In his first post, the OP said the tractor had 19.1 hours on the meter.
