I'm not sure if the deeres are like the kubotas but thats about halfway to a very expensive all inclusive oil change and filter swap. I'd ask them to either throw in the materials or meet you half way. $Filters alone for the 50 hour break in were $75 for that tractor your probably looking at a few hundred dollars in oil. I had $290 in trans fluid alone for my 50 hour service plus engine and gear oil for the front axle

My 5055E I think had 2.5 hrs and my New Holland I think had 8.5 hrs but I requested it be run on the dyno before they delivered it.

hope that first set of digits doesn't mean it was built on November 17th of 2010 ??

It probably does mean the manufacture date of the engine...but that's separate for the build date of the tractor. Deere buys Yanmar engines and has for at least 20 years...more, probably. Just because the engine is 3 years old, doesn't mean the tractor was. The OP needs to find the tractor's serial number (location should be in the owner's manual) to get the actual build date.

Although the 19 hours on the tractor wouldn't bother me, I would want an explanation.

those are the hours with "key on" most likely. What 3/4 of the people don't know on here is that if you keep scrolling through the display option, you will find hours on the machine with "machine in motion" (actually working). The "key on" tallies up hours of the machine of not only in motion but with the key on not running and also machine sitting at idle. When you scroll to machine actually in motion and or working the hours will be MUCH less.

I don't think I would use their tractor, rather have them pick it up and return it to the dealer.

Might want to read the thread... The tractor was made in 2010 and is well sun faded per the OP's description. The dealership has already agreed to replace it with a brand new one.

I believe the OP has established that it IS a 2010 tractor , and that must be part of the reason they are building a new one for him.

That 2010 engine would not pass tier 4 which is what he paid for.

He ordered a new 2013 tractor, and requested a build sheet once the tractor had been completed. And this was all done up front

Any particular reason for your concern? The OP says the dealer has offered the tractor as a loaner until the new tractor arrives.

The sales guy sent an email saying he explained the situation to his boss. Said to use the tractor until a new unit can be delivered. They will deliver the new unit and switch the loader from the 2010 model to the new one.

If you have it in writing that they said to use it and they are replacing it with a new one, then I might be ok using it. What if a tree falls on it or it gets vandalized? Who is on the hook for repairs? That would be my concern... too bad the sales rep had to be asked about it, rather than fess up without being caught... (at least that is my impression).

I think I would rather have the 2010 model with a discount and the tier 3 rather than the new tier 4 emissions... 19 hours is nothing in the life of the machine.

I got a huge discount on my 2008 L5740 bought new Sept 2011 with .9 hrs right at 103 hrs now and still smells new :)
