I thought he was going by the wisdom of the Mahindra service tech that he called and started with that, then went to the shotgun approach, maybe he would of been better off if he went the Red Green way.

So if I were trouble shooting it, I'd make two bypass wires and wire across the two plugs. Does the same thing but is reversible

Bypass first, cut last. :)

How do you by pass a switch. Do you remove the switch and plug a wire into the connectors the switch was plugged into?

First try using a jumper wire to both sides of the switch without removing it.

I was about to say Stretch should have kept the tractor he had, then I realized we're probably in for many interesting videos as he learns how to keep the new one running. He's not a professional mechanic and doesn't pretend to be. Perhaps a good title for his tractor videos would be "Learning to Fix a Tractor with Stretch". Infact, I can invision an entertaining presentation where he critiques his repair and discusses how he might have incorporated some of the suggestions made in this thread.

He could just be faking these problems in order to have more material for his upcoming book, "Trouble Shooting Reasons Tractors Won't Start, For Dummies".

I Bypassed my seat switch in my L39 Kubota with a toggle switch, so I have option of seat safety switch or operating tractor while standing on operator platform off seat so i can see in front of bucket. My Max 28's Seat Switch, other than securing the wires well, is left OEM.
