Could be the isolation... anyway here's the video
Love fresh bread. My wife does fancier recipes than me, but when I make it I use a recipe for "beer bread":
3 cups sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
12oz beer
Mix it all up, dump into a greased loaf pan, and bake for 1 hour at 375F. You can brush melted butter on the crust for the last 5 minutes of baking if you want. Cool it for 15 minutes before slicing into the loaf.
For such a simple "dumb man" recipe, it comes out as good as any fresh baked bread I know of.
Choose your beer carefully as it will influence the flavor of the bread. I have tried all kinds and it's always made great bread.

MMMM! I could almost smell the fresh-out-of-the-oven aroma! A big hot slice and a dollop of fresh churned butter would make my day!

I haven't made it in a few years but when I did the first loaf would be gone before it cooled. Slathered in dairy butter with maybe a little honey over the top I couldn't help myself.
