I find similar with my snow plow angle function. I keep it pushing right up and down the driveway twice and I'm done. Then I set it to straight to push in the parking spaces. So not really a bother to use it. I may change my mind if I ever get a grapple.

An additional pair of hydraulic circuits is an upgrade that I use a lot especially with my V-plow and swinging mini hoe. It is also very nice not to have to keep undoing the auxiliary circuit when using hydraulic attachments. I definitely do not regret doing it.

If I changed powered implements often, I would definitely go with a diverter valve.
