belive it or not i got the new tractor late thursday afternoon, it was snowing out so i took a few pic's, ran it into the garage so it wouldn't get wet, (the seat) then i had to do some other things, and when i looked outside it was dark,,,,oh well tomorrow, then friday i had to cut and split firewood, put chains on the old wood truck, etc. and before i knew it the day was gone. now it's sat. and i've been told that some things need to be done today (really they do, she's not that demanding, just pointing out things that i can't seem to remember on my own), so maybe after that i can get some time on the tractor. one thing is, during the shootout that i had here between the case and deere, i got several hours of run time on the deere, so since this one is the same w/ 3 extra hp, it won't kill me too much to get the other stuff done first i guess. i'll keep an eye on the nuts and bolts, i already looked it over with a fine toothed comb, and was dissappointed to find lots of nicks, an marrs on the paint, spent about 1 1/4 hrs touching up the paint, can't stand having rust or gouges on it. if you look at my old 197? ford you will notice how fussy i am. well gotta get to work, thanks for the nut and bolt tips. lar
