Pacific North West - Excessive heat warning issued

For Spokane, WA - starting Sunday the 27th - 100F thru Sun July 4th - 100F. Predicted high - Tuesday June 29th - 109F.

Every day - for eight running day - 100F or higher. I sure hope there is some error here also.

I lived in Redmond, WA many years ago and we didn't have AC in the apartment. Many with cars didn't have AC either - no need since it never got that hot. The times they are a changing....

The highest they said on channel 6 was 109* on Sunday still too hot . . . most out my way have things pretty well cleaned up from last years fires . . . . . . wait, you're kind of out my way good luck with the heat Dan.

I just checked. This hot spell has now been extended to ten days. Sat 26th thru Monday the 5th. All - 100F or higher.

Not to brag, but our high on Saturday in town in 68. That means it will be low fifties at the cabin during the day, low forties at night.

Might have to make a fire. Brrr...

Looks like the high dropped down to 105F on Sunday. But three days of triple digits is real unusual for the Wet side.

I just received a warning of excessive - record setting - heat for all of the PNW. Check your local forecast and be prepared. It is expected to begin this coming weekend and last thru the middle of the coming week.

Thanks for the reminder, went online to home depot ordered another bedroom a/c, Louisiana heat has little mercy too, Feel like 105 today. Got one of those new U shaped things made by midea can open the window with a/c in, crazy but sometimes I check out new tech.
