paint defects on fine cut deck

guys,
i was trying to find a viable storage setup in my garage for my bx, 54" fine cut deck and 2763 hd blade. the mid mount mower deck is up on mower axle co wheels. though the deck is new, it has yet to be mounted on the 1850, i noticed 3 spots on the top of the deck . . . that appear to be prime (for certain) candidates for paint blistering/and or cracking.
is it worth a call to the dealer, for a, what's going on with this kubota quality control ?
i am nuetral on my dealer, and am about to add some implements thru his kubota store. should i be asking for some orange paint? register my dissappointment with him, or just-suck it up and move on? in the greater scheme of life and things . . . this is embarrassingly minor, however, it's a @$1700 deck. what say ye? shrekbelly

It is worth taking some pictures and e-mailing to the dealer so they can let Kubota see them.

It's a mower deck and it's gonna get a lot more scratched and dented in the work that it will be doing
Tell your dealer about it and get some touch-up paint

I agree on this, start using it and you'll never notice it with all the grass that'll be covering it up.

Have a similar issue where my roll bar bolts to the frame. Noticed it a week or so after delivery. A good square inch or two area that I can feel where the paint lifted off the steel. I did bother me some but I didn't make any issues of it. Figure once it peels, I'll get a can of the Kubota gray and spray it new again.

There are a couple spots like this on my new deck also. I will just touch them up myself when I get around to it. Asking the dealer for a free can of paint would be nice. Keeping paint on the underside of the deck is even more challenging but worth it to reduce the grass build-up.

Guys nothing personal but it's a tractor not a sports car. It's kinda like buying a dump truck and not wanting to scratch it. Although I might mention it to the dealer I wouldn't worry about it. May he'll give you a free can of paint.
