Pallet fork suggestions

Didn't update the thread when I purchased..... Not to add to the Titan info, but I that's what I ended up with, the 42" SSQA ones. Titan 42" Pallet Fork Attachment Tractor Kubota Holland Skid Steer Quick tach They were on sale for $471.60 when I bought them back in June. Good service, quick delivery. I haven't used them a lot so far, but so far, so good. :) Good luck with your search!

I am focused on the Titan/United Attachments, USA built 36" pallet forks, SKU # 139110 (?different SKU #on ebay?).I have wandered thru the 35 page sticky on their products here.
Main concerns are-
#1. will they attach tightly to my Kioti FEL SQQA set up? (or will I be welding on them to get a tight pin fit?)
#2-How will I get the best price point discount available? I'm a patient guy! I see discounts ranging from 5% to 10% and even 25% sales. First customer discounts, holiday sales, etc..
Also, I'll be driving through Memphis in a truck in October and wonder what savings are available to out of state buyers picking up in TN? I can wait for a deal.

Titan has had off & on fitment issues over the years. The slots for the SSQA pins on my first forks were to big. They offered me a new frame or $70 (austencably for a welder to weld on shims). I took the $70 refund & did the welding myself. Worked fine for a couple years until I upgraded.

Those forks ran off with the old tractor. Quality wasn't perfect, but they stood behind their product so I went with Titan again for the replacement forks.

Go for 42-46" forks unless you have a really small machine.

Can't comment on discount strategies, but they have a fair amount of sales.

My reason for short forks is the reality that I'll use them for logs, not pallets and a log requiring a longer fork isn't growing in KY, maybe the redwoods or sequoias?:) My mill will saw 28", or a bit more if you chop around, I have old oaks that are that size only had on larger & it's still laying there as only a skidder/dozer would move the bottom cut off it. 38hp Kioti DK35SE lifts 1,400 to max height. I might do 42" as a compromise for a future "estate sale"-ha!

Once you get pallet forks, every heavy or bulky thing you own ends up on a pallet. Moving a fridge, live Christmas's tree, pile of carpet you tore out, you name it? Ends up on a pallet so you can cart it around & lift it onto the deck or into the back of the truck with the tractor. Pallets & pallet forks are the new benchmark for utility.

I got my forks with holes in the end so I could put a trailer ball in. Faster than putting my trailer mover on the 3pt & better visibility up there too.

I have a drawbar with a trailer ball on it, nice moving forward. Our fridge is ~ 20 years old-knock on wood, floors are hardwood in our log cabin and wife went to fake Christmas trees several years back, so lets think longer on this? HA!
I have a few pallets around with stray shingles, etc., I live in an area where making pallets is a bigger industry than filling them...

Other than the American made aspect, you can get hay spear lugs on the Chinese one. I went for the Chinese one with the hay spear kit. Actually I bought the hay spear (no forks) then ordered a pair of forks with holes in them for ball mounting. I'd have ordered the US made ones if they had the spear lugs option even if it cost a few more bucks.

I finally got a real person @ Titan today. The rd hole for the bale spear is the only difference between SKU139110 vs. SKU 501213
They weigh the same and have same dimensions. Guy said steel is different but he couldn't explain how. Both are $505 on ebay or website. I am waiting to hear back on a "picked up price" at MS warehouse as I'll be thru Memphis in early Oct..
IMO the warehouse price should reflect ~ $150-175 freight costs they'd noramlly incur to my location-we'll see on that one?
Sales taxes involved only for buyers from TN,MS or the other state they have warehouse in, no matter where I buy from. Guy said if I subscribe to the newsletter I will get an email with the 5% off which only applies if I don't pick up @ MS location & do a web buy. No sales forthcoming per him.
