Simply not built to the same specs. It is an inch or so too wide at the lower pins, just enough to have the A-support frame hit a quick hitch but not far enough off let you reverse the pins.

Sounds like an offset floating link would work.

I e-mailed them right after the other thread was talking about it. Took him 2 or 3 days to get back with me. I haven't ordered yet, not that I don't wanna, but with building a pole barn and wanting to buy scraper & box blades that is another $200 right now that I don't have. Maybe come spring when I'll be switching implements more.

I just ordered the Easy Change.

I would not have done it but I got an email from them (FINALLY) and it showed their NEW design and also addressed one question/complaint that I thought I had, but they also added a stabilizer bar to the new design (it might also fit the old design but I didn't ask).

Anyway, it looks like a very nice system that will work for those of us who do not have standard implements and who change them frequently.

I just got a reply too...

Looks like they will work both on my B2910 or BX2200. Adds 3.5 inches to the lower links...a welcome extension to the BX2200 I think...

I' m not sure of the advantage of having that stabilzer bar...looks like it just would hold the arms separated...but that the standard anti-sway devices would have to be used as they normally would.

I checked the prices for the B2910 lower links...kind of. The part without the extendable link end costs $130. I am guessing the whole works for one side would be in excess of $200...so Pats system is looking pretty good. I was thinking of possibly adapting the B2910 links to the BX2200...cost appears prohibitive...

My guess is that I will end up ordering a set too...

Bob, please let us know what you think of them after you get a chance to try them out.

Henro, will do, but expect not to hear from me for at least 10 days.

Pat's said they would ship on Monday, but I leave for a short business trip to Maine on Wednesday. Back on Saturday afternoon. If they arrive while I am gone I should have some time to hook them up next weekend.

I sure could have used them yesterday! Switching from a finish mower to a blade and back and then back again. If I had a place to put one, it would be easier to just get ANOTHER tractor.....

I know this is an old thread, and dont mean to beat a dead horse.
I was wondering what the offset mesurement is for the pin to where it will extend to with the pats hitch.
I have heard 2 inches, but also see someone claims to have 4 inches.
Any feedback on how this effected anyones top link?
Anyone have the hydraulic top link? and how much of a travel difference did it make?

I know my Cat 1 is 3 3/4". I've heard that Cat 2 is 4 1/2".

I'm going to put on a hydraulic top link really soon. I don't think it would work with an existing hydraulic top link unless you could find some way to extend it.
