PB alternatives or adaptor alternatives

I purchased a brand lv22 from northern tool. BRAND HYDRAULICS - Product Catalog

I dont know why, but I did not have the foresight to purchase the PB adaptor at the time. Now I want to add a grapple to my FEL. I cannot find anyone with the adaptor in Canada. Local guys say that Brand has a $50 minimum order. Northern tool can ship it. The part costs $6. Shipping is quoted as $32. They use UPS, who often add a COD customs "handling fee" of $38 regardless of any duties payable.

Do I have any other alternatives here ?.

Its not the shipping cost, its the fee they charge to get things through the border by either mail or ups. Yet you can drive up with a $25 part, (they don't count the freight because that occured outside the country) and they can't be bothered to take your money unless you buy $50 or more. Don't make much sense.

Firstly I want to thank Ken publically for taking this on for me.

The problem is with UPS. If the item is shipped by USPS parcel post and is under $50 you dont have to pay any customs fees.

If the item is shipped by UPS and costs a nickel, no customs fee is involved, but UPS gouge you for a $38 "handling fee". I call it a gouge because you dont have to do much handling to move an item of this nature from the USA to Canada.
