I also don't recall seeing this blue sleeve around the hydraulic hoses in the pivoting tunnel area.

I need to make a picture with the lift arms raised. It's pitch black outside again so I can't do it now. But I'm not sure if they made some changes there. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

And now here's the PT forum traditional grouping shot.

And another group shot. This time from the other side...

This thing is a blast to drive. It takes a bit to get used to the steering. I don't find the treadle action to be that tough to get used to but I did order the free treadle springs and as soon as I figure out how to install them I probably will (just so they don't get thrown into the bottomless parts box, never to be seen again).

PT also sent along a spare oil filter. What is baffling, though, is there is also a two foot lenght of hydraulic hose with a connector at one end and nothing at the other. My assumption is that this is a just scrap piece the somehow fell into my shipment. There's that QC problem again! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

And in closing... I've got to say that I really think I made the right choice and I'm glad I stumbled across PT and this forum almost 2 years ago. I have yet to use any of the implements other than the forks but let me say this: there's no way I could have unloaded that truck and moved all that stuff around by myself without having the PT to help me. One of those pallets weighed over 600 pounds!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

BTW you sure lucked out on the weather. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The hose is for bleeding your hydraulic tank when you get ready to change out your fluid and filter. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Toolz,

Right choice, indeed. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Hearty congratulations on the uneventful delivery and pick-up of your machine. It looks so pristine and shiny. You certainly do have a great array of implements. I'll love to hear how you like that tiller.

Like Barry said, don't pitch the segment of hose. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif At 50 hrs you are required to change the hydraulic oil filter (not the oil in the tank, only the filter). The manual has some directions for doing this procedure, and it involves bleeding air out of the system after the new filter is installed, using the hose you got from PT.

Have lots of fun, er... I mean "Get to work." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ah okay. Haven't spent that much time with the manual yet! But I did notice they don't seem to document anything other than starting and stopping the machine. No idea how to use any of the fancy toys yet since none of them come with documentation... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I do like the rather long and detailed parts section, complete with schematics.

Forgot to mention that yes, I did luck out on the weather. It was cold on Wednesday but dry. So that all worked out well.

Oh I should also mention that I had become a bit concerned over the past several days that maybe I should have stuck with the turf tires because the ground is pretty darn wet around here a lot the time. But I've found (so far) that the bar treads make no damage. And boy do they look cool.

Everything is much larger than I had pictured. Both the tractor and the implements are just huge and solid. Very impressed. Except there is already rust forming around some of the welds on the arms (I think around the tubes that they weld on for the PTO hoses to pass through). They really should just send this stuff out to get powder coated.

Some of those hour meters also indicate engine rpm. Check and see if there is a selection button.
