Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

Because I have both paved & gravel drives & want to use a rubber cutting edge for the paved drive. I did not believe a pipe on the cutting edge was an option for me.
I decided to try make a pipe skid shoe instead. I got it tacked together & ready for the welder. It is easy to install & remove by myself. I will see how it works after it is all welded up.

Interesting great Idea. Ill be watching to hear the results...I had a 2 inch steel pipe slit and on the cutting edge and found that it didnt cut as much as Id want it..Thanks for posting..

Just picked up a snow blower yesterday.
So this year I will be using a Kioti DK 35 with 9' power angle snow blade on the front and a 63" 2 stage snow blower on the rear
Chains on all 4

grandall4 any chance you have pictures of you car window motor mod? I have been scouring the net searching for ideas on doing the same mod to a frontier SB1154.
The power window mod seems to be the preferred option. Just not sure which motor to pick up etc.

Here is a zoom from an earlier shot. No lights in shed, so it'll be a few days before I can take a better pic.

I used a Dorman 742-297 motor and welded a washer to a socket and then to the cut down gear that came with the hand crank. The mount is just some angle stock from the scrap pile.

Lots of great info on this site. No original ideas in my head, just a healthy amount of time searching through threads to figure out what would work best for me.
