Finally joined the club! Been reading here for over 10 years so somewhat up to date on these models, I pick it up on Thursday.

Will be used on 3 different properties, all about 1.5 acres with one being lakefront with a decent slope down to the water. Many projects planned and will be used for mowing.

Here is my immediate list of needs and wants. Any suggestions or critiques are all welcomed! I will post pics of progress.

Grapple
Narrowed down to these 2, right now the Catawba is top of my list for price, weight, quality, and location.
Catawba 54" Rake
Homestead 54" Root

Third Function Kit
More than one dealer said they use WR Long. I will be installing it myself. Is this the best one?
Can't find an install video for this tractor. Sixteen years hydraulic experience from previous career, but still looking for tips.

Weld On Bucket Hooks - ordered.

Hydrostatic Fan Filter Guard - ordered.

Front Brush Guard
I am really disappointed that no one is making these for these GCs as compared to the BXs.
I can fab one myself but would pay for the right one. Maybe just need to market one that will pimp out this front end.

Arm Rests
From an old thread here, did anyone verify that these are the same ones from AGCO?

Wheel Spacers
54" MMM so I know I am limited. Will be used on hilly terrain so need all the help I can get.
Back tires will be filled. Will 2" work with the 54" MMM?

Service Manual
Maybe the dealer can help me not sure, I just want one. If this available on line?

Factory Parts On Line Source
I will use the dealer as much as I can, but what sources have you used with success?

Are you one of those people who have the dingleberry balls hanging from your headliner in your car as well? Ultimate 'pimp'..... :p

Personally.... Bolt On Hooks, not questionable quality from Amazon....

Wheel spacers...Probably don't need to fill rear tires, does not add that much, BUT you do have BH for "ballast"....

Factory Parts...

Welcome to the club @polarred21.

I didn't bother to right now, but the service manual that Dave linked to is also available for less than half that amount without the 3-ring binder.

Also, the parts link that @WranglerX posted has been down (for me at least) for 2-3 weeks; hopefully will be back up again soon.

Thanks. Wow just tried again and got "HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request" again. And I have been trying to get into it by doing a search for "AGCO parts" and then using that link; same result. Even tried using the link you posted just now, and as soon as I choose US and English and click on open my account it gets me the same error message.

However, I just tried Canada, and I was able to get in, and then change to US. Damned computers!

Anyway, thanks and let's take this discussion elsewhere if necessary so we don't steal @polarred21's thunder. : )

yeah that was main page w/ everything and links to separate items, posted that way on purpose.
I've bought pdf stuff for mine, in retrospect I should have paid for binder style and just provided my own binder. oh well live and learn.

on wheel spacers I have used these on my GC2400 and neighbors GC1725MB, GC1723 would be the same.

I find the grapple so useful on a farm tractor it stays on more so than the bucket.

On that size tractor you are making me wonder why you need a third function...and whether you are expecting too much from the machine...nibbing into your business...

Someone else suggested Bro Tek and I concur. Not cheap but well made and well thought out. Not as simple as some people think who have never installed them. Take the dern MMM off on steep hilly terrain!? But that does not solve the issue because once you install spacers you will never want them off again. I actually had a good welding shop make me a custom set of wheel mount carriage rails for a Kubota B-2150 MMM deck -- specifically to increase the clearance and allow really effective spacers. Strongly recommend the widest spacers you possibly can.

I have inserted a couple of comments in your post above in RED. You've already gotten several very good leads and comments from others.

Not me. I don't ever watch the 'boob tube' as most programming and most commercials of which there are way too many, are geared to a 4 year old mentality.

One nice aspect of Kubota ownership is, 99% of Kubota Workshop manuals are online and downloadable so you can download them and if you want a hard copy, just print them out. Much cheaper than buying a hard copy factory manual, most of which are very expensive and on new tractors with emissions controls, you really cannot do anything to them (other than routine maintenance, without a scan tool and the proper interfacing cables and for the most part, an OBD (automotive type) scanner is worthless because none of them are OBD automotive compatible.

fwiw on 3 point link stuff kubota stuff from tractor supply works well. I converted by lift links from the massey single adjust to 2 kubota adjustable ones so I can tilt box blade/grader blade how I want and at same time change lift height both sides. total cost approx 70$.

Not a bad idea, even for my M9 Kubota's as they only have one bevel box per tractor. Gonna look into that for myself. Not so much for lift height because my lower arm's are adjustable for lift via pre drilled holes in the arms, but for angling the arms as required.

yeah the massey arms only one hole but the kubota links have 3 holes
iirc its these ones
would have to go outside to measure but if not those its these

Try this link... And use "North America"

IF you are getting a MMM (Mid Mount Mower) you are limited to 2 inch wheel spacers....
Unless you are innovative and make some changes to the MMM. Depends on what the OP needs or should have for his steep ground whether it makes sense for him or not.
