Some "Boswell's Best" in an MM "country gent." corn cob, an aromatic (sweet), nice rainy Sunday afternoon here in N. GA. It's been about a month since my last pipe, nice stuff.
A few years ago I ordered Lanes "very cherry" and another (A1 or 1A or something like that). No excise tax if I bought in 2 lb quantities (I guess they figured it was for resale). When it arrived, I was shocked about the volume of 2 lbs of pipe tobacco (bigger than a basketball)! Get the Food Saver out and start making bags! It stays as fresh as the day I got it. I also have a few clamp lock jars with a neoprene gasket on them and the tobacco is still moist 2 years later.
My favourite blend is/was Erinmore Mixture... Then the (bloody) left-wing government decided to do some social engineering and changed all tobacco product packaging to an olive green. The Mixture came in a round yellow tin and so Errinmore decided to just drop exporting that brand to Australia. (Grrrrrrr!)
I'm switching between Borkum Riff regular & cherry at the moment. I think I've settled on the cherry. (Smoked in a Falcon pipe)
