How about a how to for pipe smoking. I have not smoked anything in years, but would like to learn the proper way.

Smokin' some more Frog Morton on the Town in duca pipe. Good stuff. :thumbsup:
As far as "packing the pipe", I normally use the "3 pack routine"
1) Fill pipe very loosely with baccy...then tamp to half full
2) Fill pipe (until full...again, loosely), then tamp to 3/4 full
3) Fill pipe again...tamp...you may be at 7/8 full by then
Light pipe while inhaling (you're not really "inhaling", but I didn't want to say "suck on the pipe")...leave it alone after lighting (a false light)....maybe 20-30 secs, just let the fire go out.
Do the "false light"/rest again. (2nd time)
Finally...light again, and enjoy.
As it reads, it sounds like a lot of work, it's not though, once you get the routine down. Maybe 1-2 mins.
This a baccy I really like.
