No , the cart wont ever leave the yard , but once in a while it will be very handy in the backyard. You can see in the photo a car cant fit in my small workshop . The big door is only 5.5 ft
wide. Just a nice little organizational project I never took the time to build for the small workshop. The next photo I post next week the front should be done. Then I will spend a day on the rear getting it all organized with nice neat cords and air hoses all hanging up and organized. Once you make a place for everything it is easy to put it back each day in just a few minutes.

Great idea. I'm constantly walking back and forth from the tractor to my workbench getting the "latest" tool that I hope will get it done.

Today I cut out metal for the front steering support frame. Got it all welded together and now I can roll the cart with two fingers. It is going to move very nice with those 8 larger tires. front frame.jpg

Do you still think you will need the garden tractor to move around the yard?

I think I can move it around by hand in the backyard. Yes, it seems good to be back in the shop.
Today I cut out the parts for the T-Handle and hinge brackets.T-handle.jpg

Welding Cart Front Progress- Today I got the front fenders attached, finished extending the front frame and building front shelves. Painted more red on the new metal. Very happy how the front steering works so easy. Once I get the pivot pin and the face plates greased it should turn perfect.frontpaintedred.jpg

Portable Workbench Progress - Todays photo shows the rear of the cart nice and neat with all the cords and cables organized. Next I will move to the table top where I will build stands for a retractable worklight, a retractable multiple electric cord, and a retractable air hose. Also a stand for a radio. But I will keep everything above the table for maximum use of the small table surface.cords.jpg

Here are the last four items to be added to the cart. This afternoon I finished the supports and the shelves and got them painted. Tomorrow I will get everything mounted and be done with the cart. retractables.jpg
