Nice! can't wait to see it and the 72" drive over deck. I wanted to see if they are set up the same as my B2620's drive over deck.

Thanks Paystar, yeah I'm looking forward using to the larger deck my previous one was 54".
Looking outside is almost a blizzard, it's really coming down on top of the 6" that's already on the ground. Seeing how my old tractor is gone I've been hoping not to get much snow until the new tractor arrives. No way I can shovel my drive.

I have a McConnel Magnum. Flail mowers
It has cast brush hammers that are quite heavy. Does a great job on both small trees, large weeds and vines but also finish mows lawns almost as good as a zero turn.

A couple questions if you don't mine Farmall, they recommend 35hp for the 4' and 40hp for the 5', but I take it your B2650 powers whichever one you have ok?

They mention two different cut height settings with the highest being 2 1/4" which is too low for my needs, do you ever cut with it raised up?

I have exactly the same set up except the 60" mmm. The telescoping link arms are an option, btw. Found this out the hard way and had to order them. I also ordered an EA 50" grapple and forks and a Titan ballast box. I didn't get my tires filled and now I wish I had. The hydraulics are strong enough to lift the rear end if you aren't careful. Plan on having some serious weight on the back or weight your tires for even moderate lifting. It's a nice strong tractor. My only gripe is the hydro is quite loud in high range. When I get to 50 hrs, I'll try K's premium hydraulic fluid. Well, one more gripe and that's how the 60 mmm pins to the frame. What was K thinking? You will be very happy with your new ride.

Having not seen the actual tractor I was getting I was was quite satisfied upon delivery last week. It looks like a new tractor should with no faded plastic or surface rust on fasteners. They received it from Kubota end of December. Rear hydraulics are back ordered from Kubota until sometime in March at which time they'll pick up the tractor and install them. Third function is installed. The 72" deck should save me some time over the 54" on my previous tractor and I like how easy it is to remove, simply raise the front of the tractor with the loader and since the deck rides on 4 swivel gauge wheels simply pull it out the side.

Right now it has the FEL and ballast box on but I haven't scooped anything with the FEL yet. There's really little use for it right now with no snow and grass season still a couple months away but I did get it to two hours, it came with .7 and I've put 1.3 rolling down some ruts and driving it around the driveway breaking it in. So far I really like it but I'll be a better judge in a few months.

Congrats again on your new tractor Milo. You will love it. Mine has been a workhorse and performed flawlessly. One thing I can save you some time on is that I designed an adjustable ballast box, and did alot of experimenting with weight, that to do max loader or grapple work, you need 600-700 lbs of ballast to keep it planted good. This is without loading the rear tires, as I mow my yard with mine also, and didnt want the extra weight in the spring mowing season. Enjoy your new tractor!!

Thanks rkidd. The ballast box I have is a Kubota one that is filled full of stone but I don't know how much it weighs. I would think over 500# maybe over 600#. I need to come up with a way to weigh it somehow.

A friend of mine has a B2650 with the 72" deck also. He has been very happy with it. Another fab project I did was to make a set of wheels to store the mower deck upright for the winter. Makes it very handy to store it up against the wall out of the way. It is sturdy enough to pressure wash the bottom of the deck while standing up to get ready for storage.

Why are you pulling it out the side Milo? I thought the 72" deck was the drive over one?

Trading my under 50 hours B2650 HST FEL with front hydraulics to Barlows next week. Call Steve Barlow for price and tell him the one John Thomas is trading in toward the L3901.
