Heckuva floor! Must have missed this thread before...

Depending on how serious you are about this, your windows are not installed (flashed) correctly. Perhaps you don't care for a pole barn, but if you do, the Tyvek needs to be cut at the opening and not wrap in, especially at the head. There is more to it than just that, but that is what I see in these last couple pics.

Nice build! I know we do things different in different parts of the country. Just wondering what the rock under the concrete does?

Thanks! Others here might chime in with better answers but my understanding is that it helps with drainage under the slab and gives it a better foundation.

We did get the lines cut yesterday as well.

I got my garage doors delivered last Friday and today we started the install. I purchased 3 doors. 2 - 9'W x 7'H and 1 - 13'6"W x 11'H. We are going to wait and install one of the smaller doors in the spring but got one installed today and the opening for the larger door framed today. The plan is to get the building fully enclosed for the winter and then start back in the spring.

We are pretty much done for the winter. I will probably go out and do some tinkering here and there and some things need painting if we get more warm days. But it is lockable and I can put a few toys in there now!

Looks good. I had to go back and see when you got this thread started. I dont feel to bad now. My barn shell was put up a year ago in August and I'm just now getting around to cement. I've got my fingers crossed that it'll be poured before Thanksgiving.
Good luck with finishing.

Haha, ouch! Yeah I know it has taken us FOREVER to get to this point, but the fact that we had little experience and have done nearly everything on our own, I am glad it is still standing!
