Hey Scotty nice pics, need to get a close up next time you having coffee! How are the black flies? We were at camp last weekend and they were out in full force, will be gone by June though! One hopes

Good Evenin Wayne,
Yes we still have the black flies !!! When Im was digging out the culvert a couple of weeks back they were crawlin up my pants leg and bitting me up pretty good ! Of course I didnt realize it until the next day !

I will try and get some closeups soon, Im hoping the flies are gone before the fields need to be mowed !

They are starting to bite here too. I have been wearing my bug baffler while outside. Actually, our neighbor owns the company that makes these so I have a continuing supply to try out.

Well that looks like it would work quite well, but as any self respected redneck will tell you, I wont wear one ! We use the tried and true method of dryer softener sheets under are camo baseball caps !

And of course we just get bit and grin through it !

I always felt that way, but got sick of all those bumps on the back of my neck! Thing works for me, but not good for smokers or people that spit alot!!!

I swear when i was on photography website, a person sent in pictures that were taken down the road closer to your neighbor's where the road looks to take a jag.

We are up in the "Northeast Kingdom" (aka NEK, Vermont's backyard)

Vermont IS a beautiful place. I am a transplant myself, from New England at least, but my wife is a VT native. I too am just as happy out here away from the suburbia of Burlington/Chittenden County.

Wow! That's a nice view. I don't envy you guys up north your winters, but you have incredible beauty all through the spring and summer. We've had sweltering muggy weather already this month and it's only going to get worse. Thanks for that postcard view. You have a lot to be proud of.

WayneB I need several of those nets for my 4th of July fireworks party over my lake. Sometimes the skeeters can be super pests. Insect repellent works, but your skin feels clammy and stinks. Here's a tip: Don't wear that net over your head when you go into your bank.
