Ductape, soon as we have grandkids Im sure there will be a snowfort or two in my future !!!

Eddie, I like Jims idea of a spray bottle with some dye , better picture contrast !

Hey Wayne, yep i leave the chairs on the porch all winter, I pish them up to the house and hook the top of the chair on the window ledge, and put a 1" block under the rocker portion, and they actually seem to stay put ! Even in force 10 wind storms with snow devils !!!

Maybe I will try that next fall. I always take all the chairs, tables and what have you in for the winter. Also take off all of the screens and store them inside. Wife thinks I am losing it? Maybe so. I just hate to leave the screens on with the high winds and heavy snows.

I don't put up any plastic protection over the sliders anymore. Just too much work and I didn't see any problem with them leaking over the years. So if we get up there in the spring and I see the winds have blown snow through or around the sides of the doors and the carpets have water on them I will have no one to blame but Sue for telling me not to do it!

Good Evenin Guys,
I got a couple of nice shots this past weekend, a couple of the force 10 winds whistling up through the fields, creating snow devils ! Also a couple nice sunsets. We tried to go home sunday afternoon but could only go about 15 miles before whiteout conditions turned us around, just another quiet night up in the mountains !

Nice views Scott, I looked up on Google maps where your town is in VT, My brother lives in Guilford in Southern VT and have family friends in Waitsfield over the Lincoln gap, found some incredible swimming holes up there. We love Vermont

Your in slate country, we go up to Pittsford, just North of Rutland, a couple of times a year to buy small hand selected quantities of roof slate for my inventory, yes slate roof repair is another of my niche construction specialties.

Yep we get into that mud season, then there is black fly season, mosquitoe season, fall colors season and we are right back to winter...........fun stuff Makes four of them!
